Dallas, TX – February 22, 2005 – Gamersrage LLC, a Texas-based interactive media company, announced the creation of the development team for Cold Steel, the company’s debut game. The game will explore the lives and careers of twenty different rap artists, submerging the player into the enticing world of hip hop.
“The founding purpose of Gamersrage is simply to push the limits of what a good game can be,” says game designer and engineer Myke Sanders. “Our goal is to break free of the conventional video games produced by companies that fear risk associated with emerging video game technology.”
Executive producer John Smith, President of Gamersrage, is excited about the coming release. “Cold Steel is a unique approach to game design that has implemented multi-threading for faster use of artificial intelligence. This process allows the program to run multiple programs simultaneously so the main character can interact with the game more seamlessly.”
Cold Steel does not yet have a release date, but designers are optimistically looking for its release later this year on both the Playstation2 and Xbox consoles.
